COTE Green Building Tour - 1310 Condominiums

Please join us for a tour of the winner of the AIA Portland Design Honor Award and Sustainability Award, the 1310 Condominiums!
Brett and Dana Ing Crawford acted together as their own developers, architects and contractors for this project. As a result, they were able to exercise a great degree of control over its design and craftsmanship, thus producing an elegant building with a do-it-yourself spirit.
The most sustainable aspect of the 1310 is that it is intended to be a recycled piece of downtown Portland's urban fabric, but there are many other aspects as well:
- Exterior sunshades
- Natural stack ventilation
- Use of natural daylight
- Dual flush toilets
- Tankless hot water heaters
- Bamboo flooring
- Recycled building material
- Full rain screen for the exterior envelope
- Energy Star TPO roofing system
